I will be straight, I like that items are, for the most part, uncraftable. But getting some items is just a pain.
Evolutionary items that can be dropped by Pokemon (ex. Razor Claw) are unnecessarily tedius to get as they have a 5% AT MAXIMUM of being dropped by final phase pokemon (ex. Weavile, Perrserrker) and a 2,5% for first phases (Sneasel and Galarian Meowth).
Both Sneasels, G.Meowth and their evolutions are in the uncommon bucket: Sneasels has a 9,2%; G.Meowth has a 9%; Weavile has a 0,9%; Sneasler has a 0,8% and Perrserkerr has a 1% spawn chance.
This makes getting Razor Claws more tedious than necessary. The low drop chance of the item and the "low" spawn chance of these pokemon (its not low enough to make them rare but low enough to make getting these items a pain) is just annoying. I know there is a chance of getting these items on trivia but i feel like evolutionary items are such a basic thing that having to pray for getting one is not justified. The only thing I can think of to mitigate this is to increase the drop rate of these items.
I've been using the Razor Claw as my example, but I am sure this can also be a problem with items like the Razor Fang, Reaper Cloth, Oval Stones (I can understand the scarcity of this one) and maybe some other that I am not really thinking of.
Now, I totally understand not being able to craft combat items but pleeeaase an increased chance to get a Black Sludge drop or a Leftovers drop will not hurt anybody... or a increased chance to get Leftovers by eating an apple (this is a 2.,5% btw). Im not saying that it should be a 100% chance or a 50/50, but I feel like having these items be a 5% drop rate at maximum for items that are not that broken is just unnecessarily tedious.
If increasing the rates its not an option I would argue that making Evolutionary Items more common as rewards for the trivia questions would be beneficial, players that answer a lot of questions might have a big stack of items but if they don't need them I bet my skin that they'll sell them, encouraging player to player trading.
I also want to add that maybe the rewards for raids might need to be updated if they are not updated already. I am not sure about this as I cannot see the loot pool for the raids but im just adding this in case they have not (ex. I think they added the Utility Umbrella in 1.7 and I don't know if its obtainable via raids).
